I'm alive!!! And i brought my OC with me! (FINALLY)
As of right now, his name is βios (with a β). I'm basing his design on a kind of mechanical Hy-brid (a play on the word "High-Breed" for a kind of horse with bionic limbs). O - O
Before you say I'm sadistic, here are the inspirations behind this. When I was growing up (and obsessing about ponies) I used to read A LOT about racehorses being put down after sustaining leg injuries. It doesn't always happen, but YES it happens because such big animals have very slim chances of successful recovery, disregarding the numerous health issues and diseases they become vulnerable to. It pained me very much to learn this, after all humans can recover from all kinds of injuries, so why shouldn't horses?
Thus, this design was born! Although i am no expert when it comes to such things, I can only dream up that one day humans won't be forced to euthanize such graceful animals for the purpose of a broken limb. βios's leg is fully mechanical yet extremely light (the wing/Pegasus design on the withers is supposed to echo this). I also tried to recreate the model based on the hinge-joints found on the skeleton of a real horse. ^^
βios is the first of these "designs", and I'm planning on drawing a couple more. (Maybe even some adoptable if anyone is interested *wink wink* ). Again, I TOILED A LOT with this design so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE NO STEALING T________T
